About OUR PASTORS
Pastor William Almeyda was born into a pastoral family and, at the age of 18, together with his wife Elise, made a personal and conscious decision to fully surrender to the Lord, recognizing a specific calling upon their lives. Since then, their journey has been marked by a desire to know Christ, express His life, and teach the values of His Kingdom with both solid foundation and practical application.
William and Elise were married in July 2000 and are the parents of two daughters, Kiara and Arielys. Their marriage has been a living testimony of service and discipleship, walking alongside individuals, families, couples, pastors, and leaders in their spiritual growth and development.
Before dedicating himself fully to ministry, William served for 10 years as a firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the city of Framingham, Massachusetts. This season deeply shaped his character, strengthening his sense of responsibility, compassion for people, and genuine commitment to serving the community. In the midst of a stable career, he received clear direction from God to retire early and devote himself completely to his ministerial calling—a decision made with conviction, the counsel of wise advisors, and obedience to God’s purpose.
In 2012, William and Elise assumed the senior pastorate of Iglesia Evangélica de Worcester, now known as Centro de Adoración Vida Nueva (CAVN). During his ministerial formation, William was discipled by his spiritual father, Matilde Caballero, and mentored by leaders who affirmed and guided his ministerial function. He earned a theological degree from Logos University and a Master’s degree in Practical Ministry from Wagner University, integrating doctrinal depth with pastoral application.
Elise has been a key pillar in pastoral work. Her administrative and teaching calling has brought direction and clarity, strengthening holistic care for people. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration from Framingham State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA), in addition to certifications in early childhood education and biblical studies.
William and Elise’s leadership is focused on forming a mature church, built upon the foundation that is Christ, established in the grace of the New Covenant, and aligned with the values of the Kingdom of God. Their aim is to serve faithfully in their generation so that God’s will may be expressed on the earth.
